About Amatus Recovery Centers’ Mission
When you want to know what it is about Amatus Recovery Centers that sets us apart, our mission is a good place to start. Through our years of experience, we have developed a set of values and goals that permeates everything we do.
Family and Social Involvement
A large part of treatment and recovery is healing relationships with family and loved ones. Addiction takes over your life, but it also affects the people who love you. We will help you and your family begin to heal. When you first begin treatment, we limit communication. This “blackout” phase first provides you with a structured introduction to treatment but also allows our team to assess your relationship with your family. This way, we can identify potential stresses or triggers that you need to overcome. The orientation stage allows us to get you situated in treatment and focused on recovery.
Amatus Recovery Centers does not provide cookie-cutter treatment. Instead, our approach involves designing a therapy plan and recovery plan around your needs, strengths, and goals.
Your path into addiction was unique, and your path to recovery will be unique to you as well. Every member of our staff is focused on treating you as an individual while getting to know you and your past to help you build for the future.
At every level of care, we employ a number of therapies that have been shown to be beneficial in treating addiction. Group therapy helps you build a bond with the people around you and form a community while in recovery. Our therapists will also work with you on an individual basis to address your personal needs.
Vocational and Academic Support
Recovery also involves helping our clients prepare for their return to work or school. Our facilities are taking huge strides to help give you the best support for the future. Each facility is equipped with a “vocational lab” to provide the proper vocational and educational support. This area also provides clients with a workspace for resume building, job searching, school applications, financial aid, grant applications, and more. You will have access to the technology and guidance you need to progress in your recovery.
Each facility also will connect you with a local job or life skills coach to aid with vocational and educational advancement. Your coach will not only assist with resume building and job searching but will help you build a plan for vocational and educational advancement, including building a wardrobe for work and conducting mock interviews.
Care coordinators are connecting links between legal, recovery support, vocational, and spiritual resources in the community to ensure that we are giving you the best start at recovery.
We understand that addiction takes over your life, and we will help you build to get past any roadblocks that stand in your path to success. Whatever you are facing, we will help. Legal, financial, spiritual, or other issues can be solved, and your care coordinator will connect you to the right support.
Your finances may seem impossible, between missed payments, debts, and other concerns. Our team will help put you on a stable footing. We assist with applications for Medicaid or Medicare, food stamps or other support, financial aid to return to school, finding the best insurance providers, and much more.
