Passions & interests: First and foremost, my passion is my family – my wife and kids, who mean everything to me – and I unwind by snowboarding, boating, and more snowboarding.
The best part of my job is the knowledge that what we do impacts countless lives with far-reaching effects. It is incredibly rewarding to be part of a team that guides individuals onto a safe and accessible path to healing and recovery, granting them the opportunity to be confident, productive, and strong members of society.
Together, we are unstoppable.
Passions & Interests: My family, my recovery & antiquities.
The best part of my job is creating an atmosphere of recovery while establishing a work environment where our staff can harness their creative energy in the form of helping our clients find a new way of life that they never thought possible.
Together, we can open the doors to recovery and allow our clients the best possible opportunities while they focus on reintegrating themselves back into society.
Passions & Interests: I spend my time outside of work with my wife and children and am actively involved in various community needs and causes.
The best part of my job is knowing that we are creating a safe, healthy, nonjudgmental environment where people can come and better their lives. There is nothing more satisfying than helping others learn to live again and piece their lives back together as they become strong, productive members of society.
Together, we can bring families back together and promote healing and wellbeing.
Passions & interests: Health and wellness, riding my motorcycle, traveling, good food, my fianceé Monica and our kids Jackson and Giovanna, and the TV show Shark Tank.
The best part of my job is Seeing families heal at home as we help the individual heal in our treatment center.
Together, we can achieve so much more than we can alone
Passions & interests: The greatest passion of mine is being able to dig into the work with men in early recovery. There is nothing better than witnessing and being a part of the change. My journey in long term recovery has taught me to value the little things in life that I am now able to do. I love to do anything that allows me to be present with my wife, family, and friends. My wife and I enjoy traveling, trying new foods, and taking long motorcycle rides with our friends. If I am not on the road working or with my wife, I am studying or playing softball.
The best part of my job is being able to show up for my team and clients; they all mean the world to me. I get to brainstorm and strategize with tons of different personalities. A lot of the team does not know, but I love learning from them. If I am not learning something about our industry or workplace, I am certainly learning how to effectively collaborate with different types of individuals.
Together, we can change the narrative and be a part of the solution to better treat those trapped in the problem.
Passions & interests: I have an amazing wife and three wonderful daughters who keep me active. I enjoy being involved in each of their activities like dance, cheerleading, theatre, Girl Scouts, and school events. I’m also a hometown fan for the Orioles and Ravens and love sitting outside and cracking open a few crabs when I can.
The best part of my job is the variability of my job is what gets me going each day. I love that we are helping people change for the better and I can contribute my experience in skills in marketing, social media, and public relations, reaching a variety of people in need. Each day presents unique encounters that I enjoy resolving.
Together, we make a difference.
Passions and Interests: I feel passionate about making a sustainable difference and contributing to the greater good. I love having a good time be it solving a challenging puzzle, hanging out with family/friends or dancing to good music.
The best part of my job is empowering interdisciplinary teams to meaningfully fuse contributions, and observing its ripple effects.
Together, we can redefine the standards of success of providing behavioral health education, prevention, treatment, and management services to support and strengthen communities in need.
Passions & interests: I would have to say that I am a nerd at heart. I love cars, computers and anything tech. I enjoy spending time with my family and my dogs.
The best part of my job is being part of a team. I was formerly in the military so it is important to me to stand alongside my colleagues and fight the good fight, so to speak. It’s also extremely gratifying to see individuals and families experience hope when we find help for their loved ones.
Together, we are much stronger than we are alone. My Amatus vision is to make an impact in the communities across the nation that are plagued by addiction and alcoholism.
Amatus stands in solidarity with all of the people across the globe mourning the death of George Floyd and countless others who lost their lives unnecessarily. We are outraged and heartbroken. We support those fighting to combat hate, discrimination, and unfair treatment of our fellow humans. We stand with our staff, our clients, and all those who live in legitimate fear that they and their loved ones may be targeted based on race. We empathize with the anxiety, fatigue, and frustration of the African American community. We acknowledge that these lives matter.
Racism infiltrates every aspect of our lives. We would be remiss not to mention how it impacts the addiction community. Spurred on by The War on Drugs, African Americans and other people of color are often incarcerated for similar practices for which the white population receives treatment.
Nearly 80% of people in federal prison for drug crimes are black and brown people. This is why Amatus supports Drug Abuse Response Team (D.A.R.T.), a program that connects people willing to enter addiction treatment to resources and help to minimize jail time.
We know that dealing with systemic racism, fear of violence, and discrimination is traumatic. We are committed to supporting people in our communities in need of compassion and trauma-informed care. As an ongoing commitment, we will continue to develop meaningful ways to use our voice and resources to support reforming the drug policies that so negatively impact African American communities. In addition, we have set up a Social Justice Scholarship Fund, as a way to provide treatment for individuals who are facing jail time for drug-related offenses.
As a company, Amatus embraces diversity and wholeheartedly believes in the power of inclusion. We acknowledge that we do not have all the answers. We may never be perfect, but we resolve to work to make Amatus the best version of itself. We are dedicated to leading peaceful and positive change in our workplace and across the communities we serve. We have the responsibility to create a culture where there is no place for hate and discrimination.
We take a knee with those who fight oppression and who demand to make our country a more perfect union.
To a brighter future, upward and onward.
